Town of Jet – Trustee Vacancy

The Town of Jet is seeking an individual to serve on the Town Board of Trustees. This trustee will be appointed by the board to fill an unexpired 4 year term, which will expire in 2027.

Requirements:
☑ Must reside within the town limits
☑ Must be a registered voter

A board member will contact you to discuss the responsibilities of a trustee.

We will be flushing fire hydrants throughout town today as part of routine maintenance.

You may notice temporary discoloration or cloudy water. If this happens, simply run your cold water until it clears.

🚛 Town of Jet Notice 🚛

The dumpster located by the water tower is currently overflowing. We kindly ask residents to please refrain from placing additional items in or around the dumpster until it has been emptied.

The good news is that the Town of Jet has received a grant and additional dumpsters will be installed later this summer to better serve our community.

7:35pm update: The repair has been made and water is flowing again to fill the tower back up. Thank you for assistance in conserving water.

NOTICE: Please conserve water. We had a major failure at our booster pump. We are actively working on repairs but would appreciate your efforts to conserve water until the situation is resolved.

🚨 Town of Jet Clean-Up Announcement 🚨

Town clean-up will begin on Saturday, May 9! 🧹

A large dumpster will be available at the town maintenance yard (corner of Hickory & 4th Street) for residents to use.

⚠️ Please remember:

* No appliances
* No tree limbs

The dumpster will remain available until it’s full, so be sure to take advantage of it early!
