In the event you heard the siren go off in Jewell and Randall today, we apologize for any inconvenience or anxiety. Maintenance was being performed on the sirens and we regret we did not have the opportunity to make citizens aware of this situation in advance. One of the sirens was malfunctioning and the priority was to ensure that the system was fully functional as soon as possible for your safety.
