Sending a HUGE shout-out to everyone who came together this morning to help clean up the Village of Jewett!!

Special Thanks to Mayor Bo Bailie, Councilman Josh Walters, Brian Jurosko, and Bobbie Prevot, Commissioner Paul Prevot, and residents John Coutts, Leah Prevot, and Anistyn Walters.

Also helping out was Juvenile Probation Officer Demi Carrothers (also a resident), who brought along some extra hands as well as the county vehicle 🚨 to help ensure road safety while we worked along the roadway. Your time and effort truly make a difference in our community!

Here is the trash that was collected just on the hill coming into Jewett 👀.

Let's ALL do our part - PLEASE be mindful and use the proper receptacles for your trash to help keep our village looking its best.

REMINDER:

Jewett Community Clean-Up is tomorrow (April 18, 2026).

If anyone would like to help out, we are meeting in the parking lot of BrightSide at 10am and will be cleaning trash along the hill coming into Jewett.

There is also a dumpster located at the park, NO ELECTRONICS, NO APPLIANCES, NO TIRES, NO PAINT or CHEMICALS.

Council meeting Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 5pm

Community clean-up day is Saturday, April 18, 2026. There will be a dumpster at the Park. NO TIRES, NO ELECTRONICS, NO APPLIANCES. There are areas that are in need of clean-up if anyone would like to volunteer-Some will be picking up trash along 151 coming into Jewett starting around 10am.

JEWETT COMMUNITY DAY is Saturday, July 11, 2026
- we will have a meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 5pm at the park building. Anyone with ideas or a willingness to help is welcome.
