Wednesday was a special day as we welcomed back several former Springfield students as they prepared for their graduation from Northern Burlington. What an amazing group of young adults....always Springfield in our hearts!

Congratulations to Springfield Elementary's Oliver, Austin, Jackson, Cole, Liam and their team for winning the District One 11-Year-Old championship! They're now on to the states later this month!

The curtain closes on three amazing performances by our Drama Club. The cast & crew were nothing short of spectacular! A huge thanks to Miss Alvarado & Miss Janney for all of their work leading up to the shows, and definitely a shout out to the parents for supporting their children's love of the arts. Can't wait to see what next year brings to the stage!

Thank you to our always amazing H&S Association for bringing Brain Break Academy to our school! Last week's assembly was absolutely fantastic & the students were mesmerized by the magic & humor!

A very special thank you & happy Administrative Professionals Day to three of the best! Mrs. Cervino, Miss Neroda, & Mrs. Vrettos are truly beyond compare and our school is so lucky to have them!

Today our Student Council members delivered over 1000 individual food items to the St. Vincent De Paul food bank. These kiddos worked hard to organize & successfully run a March Madness food drive, and their efforts (along with an overwhelming amount of support from our school community) helped replenish shelves and support those in need. Proud is an understatement! Special thanks to Mrs. Eldridge, Mrs. Baily, Mr. Bell, & Mr. Luyber for the assist with transporting the food & the kids (yeah...it took 5 vehicles!).

Congratulations to Springfield Elementary School's very own Sadie Blanchard who recently competed in at the Battle in Boston gymnastics tournament. Sadie took 1st place on vault, bars, and floor plus 2nd place on beam and she was 1st All around in the Junior B XCEL Gold Division!

Today our students enjoyed a special visit from author (& scientist!) Amulya Veldanda Vadali. Students learned about her journey to becoming an author, the process of taking an idea all the way to publishing, and some helpful tips for staying creative throughout the writing process. The visit was capped off with a read-aloud of one of her popular "Diamond in the Ruff" books (featuring Cosmo the amazing golden retriever!). A huge thank you to our H&S Association for bringing Amulya to Springfield!
