⛈️FLOOD WATCH AND THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR FAYETTE AND NICHOLAS COUNTIES UNTIL MONDAY MORNING⛈️

Incoming rainfall will track over already saturated soil resulting in loosening of grounds and rising water to rivers, creeks, and streams causing more danger to already flooded areas. Be aware of fallen trees, rocks, and changing road conditions.

Monitor local forecasts and radar and report any new/worsening flooding or dangers as soon as possible. Keep yourself safe by avoiding entering swift, flooding waters.

Multi-agency responses have slowed this afternoon, but we are on standby throughout the rest of the day and into tomorrow.

Stay safe!
