4.

Our committee is dedicated to providing individual freedom, fiscally sound and limited government, Constitutional values, and the principles adopted by our Founding Fathers. Our platform values are organized in four main areas; leadership, fiscal responsibility, education, and environment.

1. Leadership: our leaders will implement policies and practices in a manner that is fair and open to the i

deas of all community members regardless of political affiliation. Our leaders are concerned about truthfulness, transparency and being available to the community. The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee respects the property rights of individuals and the preservation of the town’s rural character. Additionally, the committee recognizes the importance of small and large local businesses and services. The committee is dedicated to supporting these enterprises and recognizes them as important to the viability of the town itself.

2. Fiscal Responsibility: The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee believes in fiscal responsibility and conservation. Spending what is necessary to efficiently provide essential services and maintain infrastructure is paramount. Sustaining infrastructure is important to avoid more costly expenditures in the long term. The committee also believes in advocating for the taxpayer by seeking fairness to minimize their individual tax burden.

3. Education: The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee will strive to preserve our unique community and support our school and students in any way possible. A local government-to-school connection can be established to reach multiple educational goals including civic education, healthy living through parks and recreation, local history, and even community planning. Environment: The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee supports policies that address a clean and safe environment for all. This includes policies supporting any well-planned, clean open-space initiative, zoning regulations that promote safe/clean growth as well as safe/clean economic development opportunities. The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee is always looking for new members who share our values and desire to preserve Johnsburg’s quality of life. Please consider joining us.

The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee has endorsed the following candidates: Kevin Bean, Supervisor; Matt Parobeck, Town Council; and Curtis Richards, Town Council. Please consider the following as you head to the polls this election season.

The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee looks forward to Mr. Bean’s continued leadership as Town Supervisor. He has worked diligently and cooperatively with council members, engineers, DEC, and ORDA to complete the town-wide sewer project and water system upgrades left unfinished by the previous administrations. Once completed, these projects will both attract new businesses to our area and support current commercial and residential properties. Mr. Bean negotiated and ended yearly payments to Hudson Headwaters Health Network, saving the town $30,000 per year. Mr. Bean has also delivered on his promise of an open and transparent government, as well as a fiscally conservative approach to the Town of Johnsburg's budget.

The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee has endorsed Matt Parobeck for Town Council. Mr. Parobeck is a local business owner who understands the economic climate of the Town of Johnsburg. Tourism is the leading industry in our region, and he understands how vital it is to promote our area and retain repeat visitors. Mr. Parobeck has served on the Town of Johnsburg Sewer Committee to ensure the success of this project and will be a valuable contributor as the town moves forward to completion.

The Town of Johnsburg Republican Committee is also excited to endorse Curtis Richards for Town Council. Mr. Richards is a lifelong resident of the Town of Johnsburg and owns a logging business. Mr. Richards understands the commitment and hard work it takes to be able to flourish in the Adirondacks. He will be a valuable team member who will represent the voices of the local community.
