The flooding of 2011 has had a devastating affect on so many people including POM. After A LOT of thought & considering every possibility we have decided to close POM. We just cannot start over again. This decision was not made lightly. In the end, we believe that POM was not a failure but a success for a short period of time. We have been blessed to be a part of our members families for a brief period of time. Please keep the prayers coming, it really does make a difference! Best wishes!

I almost did not go to the Alzheimer's Walk today in Binghamton. It was an event I have been planning on attending for a long time. In the end I knew I had to go and was so glad I did. So many good people reaching out with encouraging words of support!! Thank you all!! And a great big thank you to Tiffany for not making me walk alone!!

I almost forgot, I want to send out an extra special thank you to our friend, Zelda, who was able to take some time to focus on all our potted plants from Peace of Mind. There were so many and they had spent several nights in our yard and I knew they would not make it much longer. she went so far as to wash each leaf on one of the harder hit plants!! now they are all in doors and turning my living room into a jungle!!
the cats do not know what to do with them all!!

Mike and I will be at Peace of Mind today beginning at 10:00 a.m. and we need to completely empty the rest of the contents of our space. There will be a need for bagging garbage and for taking the garbage out to the back parking lot. We will be there until the job is done. Anyone that is available to help would be TRULY appreciated. Please wear old grungy clothes and bring gloves as well. Best wishes, Liz

On September 11th I find my thoughts focused on the flooding rather than the day itself. Peace of Mind was badly damaged by the flooding and will be closed indefinitely. Please keep the prayers coming! Best wishes!

It has been a long day cleaning up from the flood. we are SOOO grateful for the friends, family and neighbors that have rallied around us right now. the house is slowly getting cleaned and will be back to normal soon. unfortunately we still have not been able to get into the business. if we dont get in by tomorrow i have 2 daughters that are threating to jump the barrier with a canoe and paddle in as far as they can. i truly hope that wont be necessary. keep the prayers coming! & take care

It is official, Peace of Mind is closed and will be until at least Monday, September 12th. Currently we can not access POM but we will as soon as we can and then we will do what we need to to reopen as soon as possible. Best wishes to all!

Unfortunately, due to the weather and the flooding in our home, Peace of Mind will be closed on Thursday, the 8th but we hope to be open on Friday, the 10th. watch for more udpates. Stay safe everyone!
