What an incredible day celebrating the ribbon cutting of our newest rental housing development! ๐Ÿกโœ‚๏ธ

We are grateful to everyone who joined us to mark this important milestone and celebrate the partnerships that made this project possible.

We were honored to hear remarks from Katie Moore with Tennessee Housing Development Agency, Katie Watts with NeighborWorks, Nicole Intagliata with Fahe, Freddie Malone with HomeTrust Bank, State Representative Rebecca Alexander, and Kyler Glover, Field Representative for Rep. Diana Harshbarger. Your support and commitment to expanding housing opportunities in our region are greatly appreciated.

This project would not have been possible without the partnership and investment of NeighborWorks, FAHE, THDA, the State of Tennessee ARPA Program, and HomeTrust Bank. We are also thankful to Aaron Rose of Promise Land Construction for their outstanding work on the development, as well as JD Metals, represented by Paul Walton, for providing the metal framing used in the construction.

Most importantly, we want to thank our dedicated Board of Directors and Staff. Your hard work, commitment, and belief in our mission continue to make projects like this possible for the families and individuals we serve.

Together, we are creating more than housingโ€”we are building stronger communities and brighter futures.
Thank you for celebrating with us! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿกโœจ Eastern Eight CDC was proud to participate in NeighborWorks Weeks 2026 by hosting a Homebuyer Social in partnership with HomeTrust Bank!

During the event, attendees learned about homeownership opportunities, lending options, financial education, and housing counseling services available in our community. Representatives from Eastern Eight CDC, HomeTrust Bank, and Bank of Tennessee shared valuable information and resources to help individuals and families take the next steps toward homeownership and financial stability.

Guests also enjoyed dinner, fellowship, and the opportunity to connect with local partners committed to strengthening our communities through education, affordable housing, and economic opportunity.

As a proud member of the NeighborWorks America network, we are honored to support this yearโ€™s theme: โ€œCreating Homes, Building America.โ€ Together, we are building stronger communities and brighter futures across Northeast Tennessee.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success!
