The East Tennessee Republican Club unequivocally denounces the disgraceful and deceptive campaign mailers recently flooding Sullivan and Carter Counties from the unnamed and “Tennessee Stand” PACs, attacking two of our Club Members. We will not remain silent while outside or undisclosed entities attempt to manipulate our elections from the shadows.
East Tennesseans do not need outsiders telling us how to vote! These cowardly, hit-piece tactics are a direct insult to East TN voters. They are strategically designed to mislead, manipulate, and smear, all while hiding behind fine print and avoiding responsibility.
We call on the candidates and campaigns benefiting from these tactics to immediately and publicly denounce them! Silence is not neutrality—it is complicity! We also call on the TNGOP and East TN County GOPs to publicly denounce them. We call for an investigation to expose those behind this election manipulation.
