Today's Science lesson in Ms. Heitholt's room was learning about how a Persimmon tree seed can tell us what kind of winter we are going to have. If there is a spoon shape it means we are going to have a lot of snow to shovel. If it’s a knife it will be really windy and if it’s a fork it will be a pleasant and mild winter with no snow. We got a spoon!!

Our students are getting their hands dirty as they prepare the soil in our new Green Space Classroom!

This space will give our students hands-on opportunities to learn, explore, grow, and connect classroom learning with the world around them.

We’re still looking for businesses, organizations, families, and individuals willing to support this exciting project! Donation opportunities are available from $10–$500, and every contribution helps us grow this space for our students.
