This week, JC 101 participants enjoyed an inside look at Water & Sewer Services! The evening began with dinner & a presentation from Director Jon Lane, who provided an overview of the department & its important role in our community.

After dinner, participants toured a water & wastewater treatment plant to see firsthand how these critical services operate.

Next week, the learning continues with Public Works.

To avoid your yard signs being collected, make sure they are on private property and not in the City right-of-way. Signs placed too close to the road can block drivers' views.

Design and Construction Coordinator Reece Westmoreland shares an update on the West Mountainview progress in this latest video. Road widening, new curb and gutter, and sidewalk installation will cause some disruption in the area. Motorists should use caution as crews make progress on the construction.

UPDATE 1:50 p.m. - Repairs are complete and water service has been restored. You may notice some air in your waterline initially. This is normal and will clear up after running the water for a short time. Thank you to all the hard working folks who made the repair.

Residents near Gray Station Road and Patrick Lane may experience low water pressure or a complete loss of water service this morning. At approximately 6:40 a.m. today (Aug. 18), Water and Sewer Service crews responded to a 6-inch waterline break in the area. The area impacted includes Gray Station Road, Patrick Lane, Molton Circle, Rolling Acres Drive and Pine Hill Drive. Service is anticipated to be restored within 4 to 8 hours.
