ETSU will be hosting its 1st Annual East Tennessee Substance Use Mentored Research Program (EMSUR) Summer Training Program Symposium. The NIDA funded program will feature 13 undergraduate students across four institutions presenting their addiction related research. The symposium will be held on August 5,2026 from 830AM-1PM. Ahead of Independence Day, America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary in 2026, and ETSU is joining in with a yearlong series of events, exhibitions and experiences that will bring our campus and community together through learning, storytelling and shared experiences.

From exhibitions at the Reece Museum to a special block party and concert, ETSU's America 250 celebration will highlight the transformative power of opportunity while honoring the stories that have shaped our nation.
