Today, the Blanco County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office joins Blanco County in mourning the passing of our dear friend and Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace, Judge Randy Brodbeck early this morning.
For more than ten years, Randy was a personal friend to me, and for the past seven years, I had the honor of working closely beside him in service to the people of Precinct 1 and all of Blanco County.
Randy was the kind of man who never met a stranger. His warm smile, friendly nature, and genuine love for others made everyone feel welcome. Whether you came to him seeking guidance, help, or simply a conversation, Randy always took the time to listen. He possessed a wealth of knowledge—not only from his many years as Justice of the Peace, but from a lifetime spent in Blanco County, where he knew its history, its families, and its values better than most.
Judge Brodbeck was deeply respected and beloved by this community. He served with humility, fairness, and compassion, always striving to do what was right. His dedication to the people of Blanco County and his unwavering commitment to public service left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.
On a personal level, I will greatly miss Randy’s friendship, his wisdom, his sense of humor, and the many conversations we shared over the years. Blanco County has lost a truly good man, and heaven has gained a faithful servant.
From all of us at the pct. 1 Constables office, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Randy’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Judge Randy Brodbeck’s legacy of kindness, integrity, and service will live on in the hearts of the people he touched and the community he loved so deeply.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
