The Village of Johnson Creek is seeking a dedicated and skilled Water/Sewer Utility Operator to join our team. As a member of the utility team, you will be part of exciting projects like the transition to a state-of-the-art sludge dewatering and dehumidification process designed to produce Class A product, with construction almost complete! Additionally, the Water Utility is finalizing plans for a new well and treatment facility to meet the demands of our growing community.

Operators work under the direction of the Director of Public Works and Lead Operator, performing a variety of skilled technical and maintenance tasks for both the water and wastewater systems. The position also involves collaboration on Public Works and other community projects. We’re looking for someone committed to being part of the high-quality team that helps make Johnson Creek great!

The Village of Johnson Creek will host its annual Wellness in the Creek event on Saturday, September 19, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Creek Community Center.

The free community event will provide residents with access to health and wellness resources, children's activities, public safety demonstrations, food, giveaways, and other activities.

This year's event will also include a new Kids Fishing Day at Fireman's Pond from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Additional event information, including participating organizations and activities, is available at vi.johnsoncreek.wi.gov.

The event is free and open to the public.

At the City of Watertown Street Department located at 811 S. First St. in Watertown.

Registration required! Call 920-674-7430 by Wed., September 16 at 4 p.m. Fees for Households and Farms - $10 cash per for trunk load; $50 cash for truck load; $100 cash for truck and trailer load. Small businesses, please register by Thursday, September 10 or earlier. You will complete an inventory record of your items and will receive an estimated disposal cost (based on weight) payable at the event. Waste from small businesses will be accepted on Friday only and may pay by credit card or company check.

Accepting New for 2026:
One-pound Propane Cylinders - $5.00 (Friday and Saturday)
ABC and CO2 Fire Extinguishers - $8.00 (Saturday Only)

Any vehicles remaining in the lot during this time will be ticketed and towed. Alternative Park & Ride locations include Summit (I-94 & CTH P) and Cottage Grove (I-94 & CTH N).
