There is no better way to conclude Annual Training than by recognizing the Soldiers who make the mission happen. As training wrapped up last week, we pinned our newest Chief Warrant Officer 2 Michelle Hartwell, who also happened to be celebrating a birthday! HHC then came together for a MWR lunch, with the command team stepping up to serve the meal. A perfect end to a great AT! 🏅🎂 🍽️

Yesterday we recognized SFC Joshua Baird for more than 20 years of dedicated service to our state and nation. Throughout his career, he served primarily with the 186th Military Police Company and also with the 734th RSG, bringing professionalism and steady leadership to every formation he joined.

As a 31B - Military Police, he deployed twice to Iraq and once to Honduras, demonstrating unwavering commitment and excellence in every mission.

His discipline, experience, and devotion to duty has strengthened our organization and set a standard for others to follow. Thank you, SFC Baird, for your exceptional service.

🔥Congrats to our Best Warrior! 🔥

This past weekend, SSG Logan Pasker represented the Iowa National Guard and the 734th RSG with exceptional skill and determination taking 1st place in the Region IV Best Warrior Competition.

Competing against top NCOs from six other states he proved himself in a series of demanding events which included:

✅️ Weapons qual
✅️ Army Fitness Test
✅️ Helocast Swim
✅️ Ruck March
✅️ Board Appearance
✅️ Stress Shoot

In addition, SPC Tom Hook -alongside Pasker- secured the victory in the state team competition portion of the event.

SSG Pasker and SPC Hook's performance reflects the professionalism, readiness and dedication we strive for in our formation.

From the parade ground to the arena floor!

Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers took center stage at Monster Jam at Casey’s Center in Des Moines, IA, on Saturday.

The 3655th CICO stood tall for the color guard, while Soldiers from the 186th Military Police, 1168th and 2168th Transportation Companies showcased our tactical vehicles for the crowd.

We are proud to support our community and represent the Red, White, and Blue!

In a rare occurrence, the entire 1034th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB) assembled to mark a significant transition in leadership. Yesterday, the battalion bid a heartfelt farewell to outgoing CSM Brent Krumboltz and welcomed incoming CSM Adam Opal. We thank CSM Krumboltz for his immense contributions to the 1034th CSSB. We wish him the best and are excited to welcome CSM Opal and look forward to his leadership.
