Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have secured the freedoms we enjoy every day. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us take a moment to reflect on those who gave everything for our country and remember the families who continue to carry their legacy.

From all of us at Riverside Volunteer Fire Company, we extend our deepest gratitude to our fallen heroes. We will never forget their sacrifice.

Yesterday, volunteers with the Riverside Volunteer Fire Company took part in our monthly training focusing on child passenger safety and emergency transportation of pediatric patients. Members reviewed general car seat usage and safety guidelines, along with hands-on training using the Pedi-Mate device on our stretcher to ensure the safe transportation of children during emergencies.

Training like this helps our volunteers stay prepared to provide the safest care possible for every patient — no matter their age.

A special thank you goes out to our youngest “volunteer,” Anastasia, for helping us demonstrate the proper use of the equipment during tonight’s training!

We are proud of the continued dedication our volunteers show in keeping our community safe.

Another successful Basket Party is in the books! 🎉

The Riverside Volunteer Fire Company would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came out to support this year’s event. Your participation helps us continue serving our community and responding when it matters most.

We also want to recognize our incredible volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to make the event run smoothly from start to finish. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without your commitment.

A special thank you goes out to the generous individuals and local businesses who donated baskets and giveaway items. Your support plays a huge role in making this event such a success year after year.

We truly appreciate the continued support from our community and look forward to seeing you again next year!

There will be no bingo Friday, April 17th. Make sure to check out our basket party - Friday 4p-7p, Saturday 10a-6p, Sunday 10a-3p.

The Annual Riverside Volunteer Fire Company Basket Party will be held April 17th, 18th, and 19th with a Facebook Live drawing Sunday, April 19th! Don't miss your chance to win great prizes.

Entrance ticket includes 25 basket chances and a take-home spaghetti dinner.
· Ticket may be used any of the three days we’re open.
· Additional tickets can be purchased on the day of for medium baskets, large baskets, 50/50, and also additional regular baskets
Tickets may be deposited:
· Friday, April 17 4pm – 7pm
· Saturday, April 18 10am – 6pm
· Sunday, April 19 10am – 3pm
Drawing will occur on Sunday, April 19 at 5pm via Facebook live.
Prizes to be picked up Monday, April 20 4:30p – 8:30pm
Pre-purchased tickets will be available at the door – they will not be sent to you. Event will take place at 615 Liberty Avenue, Johnstown.
