Today, Chief Deputy Coroner Joseph Hribar represented the Cambria County Coroner’s Office at two “Prom Promise” events held at Central Cambria High School and Forest Hills Junior-Senior High School.

“Prom Promise” programs are powerful and realistic demonstrations involving multiple emergency response agencies, icluding law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and the Coroner’s Office. These events are designed to educate students about the very real and tragic consequences of impaired and distracted driving.

We are grateful to partner with our fellow first responders and school communities to help raise awareness and encourage safe decision-making among our youth.

As prom season begins, we want to wish all students a safe, memorable, and fun prom night. Please make responsible choices, look out for one another, and always plan ahead.
