⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE | STREET RESURFACING ⚠️

The Department of Public Works will be conducting street resurfacing September 8th through September 11th. During this time, the affected streets will be closed to traffic. Please note that all scheduled work is weather dependent and may be subject to change.

There will be no parking on the following streets beginning Monday, September 7 at 9:00 PM through Tuesday, September 8 at 6:00 PM. No-parking signage will be posted throughout the affected areas.

The following streets are scheduled for work:

Pine Avenue – Entire Street
Falcon Crest Drive – Entire Street
Terry Street – Entire Street
Jeffers Street – Entire Street
Baker Street – Entire Street

Residents and motorists should anticipate temporary traffic disruptions and delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible and allow extra time for travel. Please use caution near active work zones and follow all posted signs and directions from crews.

West Second Avenue – South Perry Street to Melcher Street
Colonial Court – Entire Street
Brandt Road - Entire Street

The Department of Public Works will be conducting street milling and paving from Monday, August 24 through Friday, August 28. Please note that all scheduled work is weather dependent and may be subject to change.

The following streets are scheduled for work:

Townsend Avenue – Entire street
Linden Avenue – Dead End to Pleasant Avenue
Walnut Avenue – Entire street
Irving Street – Entire street
North Market Street – Irving Street to Walnut Avenue

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 🚧

Please be advised of the temporary road and parking closures in Downtown Johnstown on Saturday, August 22, 2026, for Magic and Merriment: A Moonlit Faire, presented by Mysteries on Main Street.

Closure Time: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

The following areas will be closed during the event:

West Main St.— from North William St. to North Market St.
North Market St. — from Church St. to West Main St.
Parking Lot on North William St. — the parking lot closest to West Main St. will also be closed

Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly, allow additional travel time, and use alternate routes during the closure period.
