The Christian Home of Johnstown, Inc. is thinking of everyone who was severely impacted by the September 3rd storm, especially our neighbors in Westmont Borough, one of the hardest‑hit communities.

The 80mph winds caused significant damage, leaving many families without power and facing difficult moments in the days ahead.

We are keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers — especially the first responders, emergency crews, and clean‑up teams working tirelessly to restore safety and stability.

🎤 Meet the emcee for our Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser — the one and only Mr. Sean Eiler! ⛳🎉
Sean has been a member of the WJAC team since March of 2018 when he became the morning, and noon anchor. In August of 2022 Sean was promoted to evening anchor, continuing his passion of reporting the news, and telling the stories of our 10+ counties across our viewing area.

Sean was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, growing up in Rochester, Beaver County. He attended college in Northeast Ohio at Kent State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Shortly after graduation in 2015, Sean began his career at WTOV9 in the Steubenville, OH/Wheeling, WV market. In his two-and-a-half years at News9 Sean served as both a reporter and an anchor. Being able to practice each of these skill sets on a daily basis solidified Sean’s passion for broadcast television and storytelling.

When he’s not working you can find Sean either at the gym, taking in the social life around town, or on a golf course, but most importantly, Sean enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
If you see Sean out in the community don’t be afraid to say hi, you’ll find that he is the same in person as he is on air.

We’re excited to share that Christian Home of Johnstown is hiring a Site Supervisor for a summer opportunity!
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys supporting young people and helping create a positive experience in the community. The Site Supervisor will pick up four students from their residences, transport them to the site and back home, monitor and support the students at the Community Arts of Cambria County summer camp program to help ensure student and worksite needs are met.
Position details:
• $16/hour
• Monday-Friday
• 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
• Summer position runs June 8–August 14
Qualifications:
• Must be age 21 or older
• Valid PA driver’s license required
• Must be eligible for FBI, Act 33, and Act 34 clearances
