The Monroe Township Fire Department is proud to announce the promotion of four outstanding members to key leadership positions within our organization.

Effective August 2, 2026, the following personnel will assume their new roles:

Assistant Chief Josh Harrison
Battalion Chief Tom Schwab
Captain Adam Parsons
Lieutenant Alex Gant Van Vliet

These promotions reflect both the dedication of these individuals and the continued growth of our department. The creation of the Assistant Chief position and the advancement of additional officers are essential steps to ensure we remain aligned with the increasing demands of our community, including a significant rise in emergency call volume.

A formal swearing-in ceremony will be held on Monday, July 13th at 6:30 PM. The community is invited and encouraged to attend as we recognize these members for their commitment, leadership, and service.
