It is with great sadness we share the passing of firefighter Patrick Erb. Pat's family was involved in the fire service and he has been a part of our firehall since he was a kid. He eventually became a junior member and worked his way to one of our most dedicated firefighters. Not only was Pat an asset on calls, he was always willing to help in our community outreach and fundraisers. Please keep the Erb family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Friends will be received Monday July 10 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where Funeral Service will be held Tuesday July 11 at 11:00 am. Committal will follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we must pass along another loss from the Former Fire Company family. Ed Deitle lost a battle with cancer. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Deitle family. Ed served the Geistown community for many years and will be fondly remembered.

Our Condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to family, friends and the members of the Nanty Glo Fire Department, Station 43, Cambria Co. and the Blacklick Valley Foundation and Ambulance Service, Station 46, Cambria County on the passing of NGFD Life Member and BVFAS Paramedic Ronald Mahalko. Ron was one of the first Paramedics in Cambria Co and with Sta 46. Rest in peace Ron and watch over us.
