🇺🇸 Memorial Day – Dale Borough Fire Company 🇺🇸

Today, the members of the Dale Borough Fire Company pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We also take this time to remember and recognize the veterans from our own fire company family—those past members who proudly served our nation and then continued that service here at home, protecting and supporting our community. Their commitment, both in uniform and on the fireground, will never be forgotten.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have secured the freedoms we enjoy every day. We reflect with gratitude and humility on their legacy, and we stand united in honoring their memory.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember those who gave everything for our nation
—and those who continued to serve in their communities.

From all of us at the Dale Borough Fire Company, we extend our deepest respect to our fallen heroes and heartfelt appreciation to all who have served.

Community Outreach at Ferndale Area School 🚒

On Friday, April 24, members of the Dale Borough Volunteer Fire Company traveled to Ferndale Area Senior/Junior High School to speak with students about the importance of volunteering and serving their community.

Representing Dale Borough were Chief Dorn, Vice President Bates, Lieutenant Sullivan, and Firefighter Mazzarella. Our members take great pride in engaging with students and representing the dedication, teamwork, and service that define our fire company.

We were also proud to be joined by neighboring departments, including Oakland Volunteer Fire Company, West Hills Regional Volunteer Fire Department, and Middle Taylor Volunteer Fire Company. Together, we highlighted the strength of community cooperation and the vital role volunteer fire departments play in protecting our neighborhoods.

Remember—it's never too late to join your local fire service. If you’ve ever wanted to make a difference, serve others, and answer the call when your community needs you most, now is the time to start. Every member plays an important role at the fire station, and there is a place for everyone willing to step up. We need dedicated individuals of all backgrounds and skill sets—and your journey can begin today.
