* Register Now: WCBA 2026 Annual Golf Outing - Foursomes and Sponsorships close this FRIDAY!

Location: Prairie Bluff Public Golf Club, Crest Hill, IL
Cost: $125.00 per WCBA Member golfer, $150 per Non-Member golfer. This includes golf, cart, drink ticket and lunch.
Registration: Registration must be received by Friday, May 29th. Registration will not be available at Prairie Bluff. Online registration is available at this link. The hardcopy registration form is available here.
Please note there is a limit on the number of golfers allowed - if you are planning on participating make sure to register sooner than later!
If you are unable to attend the golfing portion of the Outing please join fellow WCBA members for a social hour following the completion of golfing at 5:30 PM at the Prairie Bluff Clubhouse.
Sponsorships: Sponsorships will close Friday, May 29th. If you are interested in being a sponsor for this year's Golf Outing tee and raffle sponsorships remain. Please see sponsorship opportunities to sign up.

* Bankruptcy Judge Reappointment - Northern District of Illinois
The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit is pleased to announce the reappointment of Thomas M. Lynch to a 14-year term as United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
Chief Judge Michael B. Brennan announced that the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has reappointed Bankruptcy Judge Thomas M. Lynch to another 14-year term when his current term expires on January 1, 2027. Judge Lynch is a bankruptcy judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and his office is located in the Stanley J. Roszkowski U.S. Courthouse. Chief Judge Brennan commented that the bar and the public were surveyed extensively and that Judge Lynch is highly regarded as a judge.
Judge Lynch was initially sworn in as a bankruptcy judge in 2013. He received his undergraduate degree, summa cm laude, from the University of Dayton, a masters degree from the University of Chicago, and his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. Before his appointment he was an adjunct member of the Northwestern faculty and taught at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He also was counsel at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP in
the business litigation department.

The Civil Committee meeting is CANCELLED for today. Next meeting will be Thursday, June 23rd via Zoom.
FAMILY
The Family Committee will meet Thursday, June 11th at noon at the WCBA Office at 167 N. Ottawa St.
