Behind every school bus route is a tremendous amount of planning, coordination, and oversight. Sara Fleszewski helps make that happen for schools across Will County. Her work supports the transportation systems that get thousands of students to and from school safely each day.

Sara is one of the many dedicated professionals at the ROE whose work often happens behind the scenes but has a direct impact on students, families, and schools throughout our region. We're grateful to have her on our team!

So proud!

There’s something special about seeing community members, school leaders, parents, and educators all gathered around the same table. ☕

Our Coffee with Caparelli events continue to create meaningful conversations and stronger connections between our schools and the communities they serve. We are so grateful to everyone who has come out, asked questions, shared ideas, and taken the time to better get to know their local school systems.

Thank you for helping us build stronger partnerships across Will County. We look forward to many more conversations ahead!

Big day at Lincoln School!

Mr. Daniel Markun has been named a Teacher of the Year by the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, and Lincoln School has received a $10,000 grant in recognition of his impact. Lincoln was one of only two schools in the Midwest selected for this honor.

The surprise announcement took place during a schoolwide assembly, made even more special with Mr. Markun’s family there to celebrate.
