As our cat intake continues to grow each hour from the numerous amount of adults, pregnant mamas, and litter of kittens, our dock is out of cat litter! Cat litter is always our #1 most needed item as our feline friends go through it quickly. If you would like to donate, they can be brought into our facility M-F during business hours or left at our front door after closing. Drama is ready to bring a little flair and a lot of personality into her future home.
Drama is a one year old tabby that came to us back in April as a sassy stray girl with plenty of opinions. In the beginning, she wanted attention strictly on her own terms and would dramatically demand affection with playful little headbutts before deciding she was done with you. True to her name, Drama always had something to say. Since settling in with us, Drama has come a long way and has shown us her softer side. While she still has her dramatic moments, she has learned how to coexist with other cats and should do well with a slow, patient introduction. Expect a little sass at first — she likes to make an entrance. Drama absolutely loves head rubs and never turns down wet food time. Once she trusts you, she enjoys soaking up attention and being the center of your world. She was recently surrendered alongside a large group of other cats after her previous owner could no longer care for them. The cats had been living both indoors and outdoors, and each one was individually trapped and safely brought to our facility. Through all the changes, Estelle has remained a quiet and easygoing girl that truly doesn’t ask for much. She enjoys the simple things in life: gentle pets, a full plate of wet food, and a chance to stretch her legs and explore the room during freetime. While she may not be the loudest cat demanding attention, her sweet and calm nature makes her such a comforting companion to have around. Estelle does wonderful with other cats and would likely fit well into a home with feline friends already waiting for her. Tami is a two year old cat with a gentle spirit and a quiet charm that’s impossible not to love. She was brought to our facility after being safely caught in a cat trap. Although she was understandably scared at first, Tami showed us right away that she was a friendly girl who simply needed a little patience and kindness. When Tami arrived, she had a few painful mats in her coat, but she handled the grooming process like a champ. Our staff was able to carefully shave away the tangled spots to help her feel much more comfortable, and Tami tolerated it all with quiet trust. Her future home should make sure to brush Tami and keep up with her thick, fluffy coat. Tami doesn’t mind being around other cats, though she’s definitely more of an independent lady who prefers to keep to herself and avoid drama. She enjoys finding cozy places to relax, whether that’s stretched out on a pile of warm clean laundry or perched up high in the cat tree observing the room. One thing Tami is very passionate about is wet food. The moment she sees her afternoon snack coming, she happily meows with excitement and anticipation. It’s one of the quickest ways to see her personality shine through. ADOPTED!!

Aggie is an eight month old German Shepherd with a gentle soul that is finally starting to shine. When Aggie first arrived as a stray, the world felt like a very scary place. Simple things most dogs are used to — walking on a leash, shiny tiled floors, even affection — were completely unfamiliar to her. She would quietly hide in the back of her kennel and try to make herself as small as possible. Thanks to the patience and kindness of our staff and volunteers, Aggie has slowly begun to blossom into the dog she was always meant to be. Every day she grows a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more confident. Watching her learn to trust has been incredibly rewarding. Aggie absolutely thrives around other dogs and would greatly benefit from having a confident canine companion in her future home to continue showing her the ropes. She loves going on walks, exploring the world around her, and taking everything in at her own pace. She’s also a huge people pleaser and truly enjoys engaging with her handler during training sessions. With positive reinforcement and consistency, Aggie is going to make an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. She’s looking for a patient family willing to continue helping her build confidence and discover just how wonderful life can be.
