Looks like Joliet Police K-9 Unit K9 Rex made a new 'alliance' yesterday at the Joliet Public Library Annual Star Wars Day! The Joliet Police Department provided traffic control & event security throughout the day. We enjoyed seeing everyone who came out to have good, safe time!

The countdown is almost over! Join us for an out-of-this-galaxy celebration on Saturday, June 7 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Joliet Slammers Stadium (Duly Health and Care Field)!
Here’s everything you need to know before you jump to lightspeed:

🚪 Enter at the West Gate (Van Buren St. & Mayor Art Schultz Dr.)
📍 Info Booth will be right at the entrance to help guide you!

🎉 Parade around the stadium starting at Jefferson and Power Alley
🎨 Artists, authors & DMS along the west concourse (Inside stadium)
🍔 Food trucks near left/center field (Inside stadium)

🚗 Where to Park:
🅿️ FREE parking at Joliet Township High School (Lots A, B, C, H, I off Jefferson & Eastern)

It's that time of year for one of our BIGGEST events!

On June 7th, The Midwest Garrison, along with the Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, Droid Builders and Galactic Academy participate in the annual Joliet Library Star Wars Day! It will be a day full of fun activities, and wonderful opportunities to meet the troops!

That evening, we have 2 Star Wars Nights happening at both the Joliet Slammers game, and the Windy City Thunderbolts game in Crestwood, IL. Games start at 5pm.

June 8th has appearances at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Charity Walk in Glenview, IL, and the 59th Annual Tremont Turkey Festival Parade.
