Inspiring the Next Generation of Leaders!

The Will County Board was proud to partner with the Will County Clerk’s Office and the Will County Executive’s Office to host the first-ever County Civics Bee Celebration! We welcomed students who recently participated in the Regional Civics Bee at Lewis University.

Will County Board Leadership Speaker Joe VanDuyne, Republican Leader Jim Richmond, and Democratic Leader Sherry Williams joined representatives from the Clerk’s and Executive’s offices for an engaging Q&A session with local students. The discussion provided a valuable opportunity to hear directly from our youth and learn about the issues that matter most to them.

Events like this remind us why civic engagement is so important. Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders, and fostering their interest in government helps build a stronger future for our community. We were honored to be part of this exciting event and look forward to continuing opportunities that encourage young people to learn, participate, and make a difference.
