Village of Jones Creek Beautification Committee was in the The Facts Newspaper 📰 for our 2nd place win for the Governor’s Community Achievement Award presented by Keep Texas Beautiful and Texas Department of Transportation! 2nd Place! Village of Jones Creek received 2nd place for 2026 Governor’s Community Achievement Award present by Keep Texas Beautiful 🌎 This is our second year entering to win this prestigious award.
Next year, will be our year to grab 1st and $90,000 to improve a "Right of Way" in our Village.

Our 4th annual Spring Litter clean up Sunday:
🌎 Yielded 929 lbs of trash 🗑 🛞 we had 5 adults and 2 children on the roads cleaning litter.
🏆 Our winners for most trash collected was Justin collected 495 lbs *he found dumped car tires, several ice chests, and a 40 inch TV *(he won a 55 inch TV 📺) and Emmalynn collected 16 lbs (she won a tablet).
👮‍♀️ Our first Touch a Truck 🚒🚑🚓 for kids was a hit. Thank you Jones Creek Volunteer Fire Department , Sweeny EMS, Rivers End Volunteer Fire Department 🔥, and G & H wrecker service. Our first responders are top notch 👌!
🌳 Perry Farms 🚜 had an amazing line up of items to purchase. I know several of our Committee members walked away with treasures.
💧 Thank you to our City Secretary Lauren Grayson for donating drinking water 🚰. Thank you to Jones Creek Marshal's Office who are the do behind the scenes juggling to assist us with putting on all of our events!
🐝 Thank you Brazoria County Master Gardeners for the educational lesson on Pollinator plants 🪴 this was a great addition to our event.

The weather was perfect ☁️ for a day outdoors cleaning up our Village!

Good morning everyone 🌞 ☁️, our annual Spring City wide litter clean Up will be held this SunDay April 26th! This is on location @ Jones Creek City Hall. Brazoria County Master Gardeners 🪴 🐝 will be presenting a educational program about pollinator plants! Perry Farms 🚜 will be selling plants and trees 🌳! We have fantastic prizes 🏆 for the winners of the adult and child who collect the most trash (by weight)! Touch a truck 🚒 🚔 will be a hit with the littlest members of our community presented by Jones Creek Volunteer Fire Department!
