🚨🔥 COUNTY-WIDE BURN BAN IN EFFECT 🔥🚨
The Oklahoma County Burn Ban is now in effect immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.

🚫 NO OUTDOOR BURNING
🚫 No brush piles
🚫 No trash burning
🚫 No pasture/field burning
🚫 No recreational fires or other outdoor burning

With current conditions, fires can spread quickly and become difficult to control. Please do your part to help protect our communities, homes, property, and firefighters.

👨‍🚒 Jones Fire Department asks everyone to take this burn ban seriously.

If you see smoke or a fire call 911 immediately.

We will provide an update when the burn ban is lifted.

What an absolutely unforgettable day.

Today wasn't just a water fight. It was a reminder of everything that makes small-town Oklahoma so special. Children laughed until they were exhausted. Parents became kids again. Firefighters became the targets instead of the heroes for a few hours. Neighbors met neighbors. Complete strangers shared smiles, burgers, and soaked t-shirts.

And for just one afternoon, the worries of everyday life took a back seat to community.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible departments and organizations that answered the call to help us make this event bigger than we ever imagined.

💦🚒 What an incredible day! 🚒💦

The final battle has ended, and what an amazing turnout it was! Seeing so many smiling faces, families, and neighbors enjoying the day together is exactly what this event is all about.

The Jones Fire Department is firing up the grill at 5:00 PM at Beaty-Mulhausen Community Park, and everyone is invited!

Come grab a FREE burger or hotdog, enjoy time with your neighbors, and stick around for one of Jones' favorite summer traditions!

🚒 The Fire Department has been making its way through town since 1300 hrs, giving everyone a chance to cool off. Then, at 5:00 PM, we'll all gather at the park for the final water battle!

This Saturday, August 1st at 1:00 PM, the Town of Jones is turning into the biggest water battle around!
The 2nd Annual Town of Jones Water Fight is almost here, and everyone is invited!
🔥 Fire departments from across the area will be joining in on the fun as we cruise the streets looking for anyone brave enough to take on a fire truck! Bring your water guns, buckets, hoses, sq**rt toys—or just be ready to get soaked!
💧 Water fights throughout town 🏀 Final showdown at the park basketball court 🌭 FREE hot dog cookout afterward 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Fun for the entire family!

💦🚒 THE JONES WATER FIGHT IS BACK! 🚒💦
The Jones Fire Department is once again challenging the community to an all-out water battle!
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, firefighters will begin cruising the streets of Jones at 1300 hours (1:00 PM). Residents are encouraged to grab their water guns, water balloons, hoses, buckets, sprinklers, and anything else that sprays, splashes, or soaks. If you see the fire trucks coming, don't be afraid to join the fight!
Then at 1700 hours (5:00 PM), everyone will gather at Beaty-Mulhausen Park for the Final Battle as the community and the Jones Fire Department face off one last time to determine who reigns supreme.
To make this year's event bigger and better than ever, we're asking for donations of:

🏊 Kiddie Pools
🚿 Hoses & Sprinklers
🫧 Bubbles
🍬 Candy
🌭 Hot Dogs & Hamburgers
🥤 Drinks & Snacks
Donations may be dropped off at Town Hall during normal business hours.
