🚨 IMPORTANT: 14-DAY BURN BAN IN EFFECT 🚨
Per the Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners, a 14-day burn ban has been issued for Oklahoma County, effective immediately as of today, March 25, 2026.
Due to elevated fire danger and current environmental conditions, the following restrictions are in place to ensure the safety of our community:
NO OPEN BURNING: This includes trash burning, bonfires, and the burning of debris or brush.
EQUIPMENT SAFETY: Please avoid any activities that create sparks in dry grass or wooded areas.
REPORTING: If you see a fire or smoke that appears unattended, please call 911 immediately.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us prevent wildfires and protecting our first responders during this period of high risk.
Duration: March 25, 2026 – April 8, 2026 (Unless rescinded or extended)
