On January 7th at 0900, 875th Engineer Battalion was able to celebrate the life of SPC Darius Lawson. A large number of our Soldiers came to show their respects for a life taken to soon. Over 30 family members were able attend the Lawson memorial ceremony. SPC Lawson was admired by his fellow Soldiers and presented himself as a larger than life figure. You will be missed Darius!

Thank you for your service to the state and country!

Today SGT Lavender’s daughter, Hudson, had her Make-a-Wish granted. She has been battling cancer and just recently finished her last bit of chemotherapy. She is Cancer free and is going to Disney World!

Her school, Brookland Elementary, has made it top priority to fundraise specifically for Make-a-Wish. This year they were able to surprise their very own student with this incredible gesture! Congratulations Hudson on beating cancer and have a great time at Disney World!

Make-a-wish surprise took place on Jan 23rd - 1:30PM at Brookland Elementary Building 220 N. Oak St. Brookland, AR 72417.

SGT Lavender is a respected Soldier of the 875th Engineers and belongs to 1036th Engineer Company.
