Students in Mr. Winn’s 5th grade Science class performed a lab today to observe evidence that liquid particles are constantly moving even when liquid looks still. They then took their lab a step further and observed how liquids will behave differently whether they are in cold or hot water. Each student had to decide if hot or cold water is more dense and how that would affect the food coloring.

Mrs. Neldon’s 3rd graders are becoming nonfiction detectives!

Students are exploring Epic on a scavenger hunt to find nonfiction text features like headings, captions, photographs, diagrams, maps, glossaries, and more! They’re learning how authors use these features to help readers better understand the information. 🕵️‍♀️📖✨
