We honor and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers everywhere. 📚 September is Attendance Awareness Month! 💛🖤

Every day counts. Every student matters.

Showing up for school every day is one of the most important things students can do for their success. When students attend school regularly, they have more opportunities to learn, build relationships, participate in activities, and stay on track academically.

We know that life happens and some absences are unavoidable, but whenever possible, make school attendance a priority. Missing just a few days can add up and make it harder for students to keep up with their classmates.

This September, let’s work together to make showing up a priority! Help your Raider start each day ready to learn, grow, and succeed. 🎓

🎉 FOX MEADOW GYMNASIUM RIBBON CUTTING 🎉

We’re excited to celebrate a major milestone for Nettleton Public Schools!

Join us Tuesday, September 8th at 1:00 p.m. for the Fox Meadow Gymnasium Ribbon Cutting Ceremony as we officially open one of the newest additions to our campuses!

This new gymnasium brings together Fox Meadow Elementary and Fox Meadow School of Creative Media, providing our students with a new space to learn, grow, play, and make memories for years to come. 🖤💛

We invite our families, staff, community members, and Raider supporters to join us as we celebrate this exciting moment in Nettleton’s continued growth!

📢 REMINDER, RAIDER FAMILIES!

🎓 Does Your SENIOR Have Their Community Service Hours?
An Arkansas graduate shall complete a minimum of 75 clock hours of documented community service during grades 9–12. This requirement begins with the Class of 2027.
A.C.A. § 6-16-1901

Here’s what students need to know:
✅ Students MUST log their community service hours using the Google Form.
📧 When the school becomes aware of community service opportunities, we promptly communicate those opportunities directly to students’ inboxes.
Seniors were recently provided an update on their cumulative hours logged. Be sure to check your hours and make sure you are on track!

Our district supports Arkansas Imagination Library because early literacy is one of the strongest predictors of a child's long-term academic success, and this program helps build that foundation before kids ever set foot in a classroom. By mailing a free, age-appropriate book each month to every enrolled child from birth to age five, the program helps families build home libraries, creates consistent reading routines, and exposes children to language and vocabulary during the critical years when brain development is happening fastest. For a district like ours, investing in this kind of early support means students are arriving at kindergarten more prepared to read, learn, and thrive — setting them up for success right from the start.
