Join Commissioner Gail Hambrick and Clayton County Parks and Recreation for the 9/11 Police vs. Fire Basketball Showdown, sponsored by Clayton County Public Schools Foundation, Inc., on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Virginia Burton Gray Recreation Center.

Come out for an evening of community, competition, and remembrance as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and honor the service and sacrifice of our first responders.

Registration is now open for the After School Enrichment Program! This program, for children ages 5–13, provides an empowering learning environment that offers 1-on-1 homework help, enrichment workshops, outside exploration, and STEAM activities. The program will be open Monday - Friday from 2:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., from August 18, 2026 through May 21, 2027. Afternoon snacks and transportation from school will be provided.
