Social Media Procedure

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will review all comments and posts for appropriate content. Any comments and posts containing, but not limited to, the following are considered in violation of the library’s Code of Conduct and will be immediately removed by library staff:

- Abusive or vulgar language
- Harassment
- Hate speech
- Insults or personal attack

- Advertisements
- Endorsements
- Organized political activity

Comments and posts that are off-topic or spam may also be removed. The Public Library reserves the right to determine which comments are acceptable for its social media pages. By posting content on any of the Public Library’s social media sites, you agree to abide by the above rules.

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and that means GIVEAWAYS! 🎉📚

We’re celebrating all month long with two separate giveaways!

GIVEAWAY #1: The September Stamp Card

Already have a library card? You can still participate!

Adults can pick up a stamp card and complete these three activities:

• Attend one library program or event
• Check out a Staff Pick
• Check out a book from one of our monthly displays

Each time you complete a task, stop by any library desk to get your card stamped. Once your card is fully stamped, drop it off at the Circulation Desk to enter the drawing.

This giveaway is for adults only, and you may enter once.

🎁 The prize: A Kindle Paperwhite and an "I Love My Library" 40 oz. tumbler!

The winner will be drawn and announced during the first week of October.

GIVEAWAY #2: Sign Up or Renew

This one is easy! Sign up for a new library card or renew your existing and expired library card during September, and you’ll automatically be entered to win a special edition Book Lovers Scrabble game! 📖

At the end of the month, we’ll draw one winner from all new and renewed cards from September.

We will not be having Yoga today, Monday, August 31, as the Round Room is being used for a meeting.

We will also not have Yoga next Monday, September 7, as the library will be closed in observance of Labor Day.
