Jonesboro Parks and Recreation 🌳 Welcome to the official Facebook of Jonesboro Parks & Recreation 🌳 Our Parks and Recreation Department manages 20 parks that total just over 900 acres.

Come to Jonesboro and enjoy our parks, trails, green spaces, and many opportunities for recreation. With dozens of athletic fields, water features, community centers, recreation programs, and events, the Parks Department offers something for nearly everyone! You can sign up for volleyball, or rent a pavilion; play basketball at the historic Earl Bell Community Center, or have fun at the Allen Park splashpad. You won’t ever run out of things to do in Jonesboro!

As many of our seasonal lifeguards head back to college for the fall semester, the Jonesboro Pool Center will be closed through this week due to seasonal staffing limitations.

City staff are actively working to secure enough lifeguards and staff to reopen this weekend. We will provide an update as soon as a decision has been made.

Parker Park Pool will continue operating under its normal schedule through Thursday, August 6. Beginning Friday, August 7, Parker Park Pool will transition to its back-to-school schedule and be open on weekends only through Labor Day weekend. If the Jonesboro Pool Center is able to reopen, it will follow the same weekend schedule.

Both the Jonesboro Pool Center and Parker Park Pool are closed today, Saturday, August 1.

🏊 Parker Park Pool will reopen tomorrow and operate during its regular hours from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Jonesboro Pool Center (1421 W. Nettleton Ave.) is closed today, Friday, July 31.
