🎉 Congratulations to our EAPDD communities! 🎉
We're excited to celebrate several communities across the East Arkansas Planning & Development District that have been awarded funding through the Arkansas Economic Development Commission's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Rural Services Block Grant (RSBG), and Rural Community Grant (RCG) programs as part of more than $12.5 million awarded statewide to support rural Arkansas.
👏 Congratulations to the following communities that secured more than $3.1 million in grant funding to support critical community development and infrastructure improvements:
* Imboden Fire Department – $12,376.45 Rural Community Grant Program
* Town of Powhatan – $90,000.00 Rural Services Block Grant
* Town of Lafe – $499,560.00 Community Development Block Grant
* Town of Sedgwick – $500,000.00 Community Development Block Grant
* City of Marked Tree – $499,000.00 Community Development Block Grant
* Town of Widener – $500,000.00 Community Development Block Grant
* City of Marianna – $500,000.00 Community Development Block Grant
* Town of Maynard – $499,706.00 Community Development Block Grant
At EAPDD, we're proud to have partnered with these communities by preparing their grant applications and look forward to working alongside each of them as we administer these projects. These investments will help strengthen infrastructure, improve public services, and enhance the quality of life for residents throughout our region.
