These programs cater to tweens/teens ages 12-18 at both the Jonesborough and Gray locations in Washington County.

🌞Happy August! School may be starting up again soon but we still have plenty of fun things to do at the library to destress! Like our regular Anime club!

The anime of the month is Spy x Family and we'll have crafty things out for you to do while you watch! We even have a button maker now to make any kind of custom buttons that you can think of! Light snacks and refreshments provided at each meeting! Hope to see you there!

🎒📚School is right around the corner yet again! No matter how you feel about it (we miss Summer Reading already!!!), the library will always be here for you! If you needed a quiet space to organize those binders, or if you just want to come eat some free snacks and not think about that first day back, Teen Hangout Hour is the place to be!

Our Teen Hangout Hour is the place for teens to come and unwind with provided crafts, snacks, and some chill tunes. I know we have some creative teen writers as well that may enjoy this program! Hope to see you stop by! 😸

**UPDATE: We are out of treasure box prizes, but books are still available.

A quick update for summer reading participants: The last two remaining prize pickup days that were scheduled for the new Gray library parking lot have been canceled. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

All remaining summer reading prize pickup (treasure box and free books) will be available at the Jonesborough Library during operating hours until Saturday, August 9th. (The treasure box prizes are while supplies last this year as we are focusing on reading for our United Way donation to Hurricane Helene relief in Washington County.)

We thank you for your patience and understanding!

Don't forget about our Character Creation Workshop on Monday June 30th for Dungeons and Dragons!

Your friendly Teen Programmer will lead you through creating your character, and you'll get some adventuring goodies for all of your future ventures. We also will have one-shots next week to play with your characters you create during the workshop. (Registration required for the campaigns!)

This summer is going by way too fast! 🌞⛱

Here are our Teen and All Ages events for July! We still have lots of fun things to fill up your summer vacations at the Washington County Library in Jonesborough! Hope to see you come by and get out of the heat! 🍦🎆

The library will be closed on July 4th and 5th to recognize the holiday, as well as make space for Jonesborough Days-- an annual festival hosted by the Town of Jonesborough! Check out their page for more.
