A couple reminders for this 250th birthday for this amazing country!

The first, wake up tomorrow with the same number of fingers you have today, please.

The second is a traffic reminder, that all traffic northbound on Duquesne Rd (toward MSSU) will be shut down at 7th St. for a short time tonight. This will happen near the end of the fireworks show (which is scheduled to start around 9:45p), and then reopened once exiting traffic is cleared.

Update: Owner has claimed them.

We had a unique keychain turned in to us today that was found near 25th St on Duquesne Rd. It has a vehicle key fob on it. Call us if you think it’s yours. 417-781-9494

It’s turtle on the move season… And some of you will feel compelled to help them cross the road (ironically often placing them on the same side they came from).

If you do, do NOT park in the middle of the road. Your life and the motoring public’s life is more important. Your insurance company likely won’t factor turtle safety into the claim either. 
Safely park off the road or on the shoulder with flashers on and watch traffic flow for a safe opportunity to help the turtle. The turtle will likely swear a life debt to you and join other turtles who will find a rat to guide them into efficient fighters who will show up in your hour of need.

***ROAD CLOSURE***

10th and Duquesne will be completely closed today, March 2nd and tomorrow, March 3rd. There will be road closed and detour signs. The official detour will be 7th to range line to 13th. Here is a photo of the official detour.
