Today is bittersweet at MedFlight. Today marks the end of the Denny Mason era. After today, Denny will hang up his flight suit and enter into retirement after a 48 year flying career!

Denny started his flying career on his father’s lap flying around the boot heel of southeast Missouri. It’s from that time, Denny developed a love for flying and led him to serve the citizens of Kansas City, flying for law enforcement in the area. After his law enforcement career, the itch for flying still remained, leading him to fly for Air Methods at bases in La Monte, St. Joseph, Rogers, and Joplin. Through this path, Denny was able to touch and impact hundreds of lives throughout Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, & Arkansas.

From your crews, patients, and citizens, congratulations on a much deserved retirement!
