‼️ Recall alert for whole peaches, plums and nectarines sold in stores in 2022 and 2023 between May 1st and November 15th. This fruit is not being sold in stores now, but there is a concern that the recalled fruit may have been frozen at home for later use.

The fruit is being recalled because it has the potential to be contaminated with

FDA has no indication that this issue extends beyond these recalled products. https://www.fda.gov/food/outbreaks-foodborne-illness/investigation-elevated-lead-levels-cinnamon-applesauce-pouches-november-2023

The FDA is continuing to work with Ecuadorian authorities to investigate the source of the cinnamon and is screening incoming shipments of cinnamon from multiple countries for lead contamination.
