Our friends at Kara & Tara Creative Co. have created a special “Are You A Match?” shirt benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jasper & Newton Counties!

It is always exciting when a great partnership continues to grow.

Last week, we had a great meeting with Tara from Likeable Likeness photography and Courtney with Teed Entertainment. They were incredible partners for our Green Tie Gala, and we're excited to continue building on that partnership.

The conversation was full of ideas, shared passion for our community, and some exciting new projects that we can't wait to share in the future.

Thank you both for investing your time, your support, and your belief in the mission of Big Brothers BigSisters of Jasper and Newton Counties. We are grateful to have community partners like you who are committed to creating more life-changing moments for local kids.

💚 Sometimes showing up means going the extra mile. Literally.

Recently, circumstances outside of his control caused one of our Littles to move away from our immediate area.

His Big Brother could have understandably said, “That’s just too far.”

He didn’t.

A Little who once lived about 5 miles away is now nearly 50 miles away, but his Big is committed to continuing to show up.

That means more miles. More gas. More expense.

But it also means something much more important:

This Little gets to keep one consistent, caring adult in his corner during a time when consistency matters more than ever.

We want to make sure the additional cost of those miles doesn't become a barrier to this match continuing.

So we're asking our community to help us Fuel the Match.

Every gift, no matter the amount, will help with the additional transportation costs that come with keeping this Big and Little connected.

We won't share names, photos or details. Protecting the privacy of our Littles will always come first.

But we can tell you this:

There's a Big Brother willing to drive the extra miles to make sure his Little knows he hasn't been forgotten.

A big thank you to Guaranty Bank for taking the time to visit our office and learn more about Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jasper and Newton Counties.

We truly appreciate that this wasn't about a sales pitch or checking a box. It was about listening, asking thoughtful questions, and exploring how we can work together to create more opportunities for kids in Jasper and Newton Counties.

Strong communities are built by businesses that invest not only in commerce, but in the people who call this community home. We are grateful to have organizations like Guaranty Bank that are willing to learn, engage, and look for meaningful ways to make a difference.
