One of our members, Steve Kent, has passed. His Celebration of Life ceremony is this evening, Monday July 20 at 6:00 pm at Life Connections Church located at 5831 S. Main St, Joplin, MO. Rest well Steve.

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew—
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

New Heights Christian Academy - Joplin, MO is looking forward to our Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:10 a.m. in the Worship Center here at New Heights Christian Academy. This will be an all-school assembly, and we would love for you and local veterans to join us as we take time to honor the men and women who have fought for our freedoms.
