Home Partnership, Inc. HPI is a 501c3 nonprofit housing agency providing counseling and affordable housing development.

HPI was started out of a grassroots coalition of local churches, businesses and government representatives who saw the need to provide safe, decent affordable housing with dignity. The coalition shared the vision of a community that could provide affordable solutions to a broad spectrum of individuals and families, a community that shared the American Dream of homeownership and future possibilitie

s. HPI works with its partners to bring together resources to help families become successful homeowners -- families who live and stay in their homes over time. Today, HPI works to create successful homeowners and strengthen communities through programs such as housing counseling, home buying education and housing development services.

People who have not previously applied for the
Maryland Homeowners’ Tax Credit can get credit for their overdue
bill from last July if they apply by APRIL 15.
This is also true for homeowners who had the credit for at least three years previously but missed the application deadline last fall.
They need to complete the 2022 tax credit application with applicable
2021 income data and submit their tax sale notice (FBLN)
to expedite the process. They should also apply for 2023 tax credit
at the same time with 2022 income documentation.
