We kicked off 2026 by celebrating local, member businesses and three lucky MVEC members were randomly selected in our “Cheers to the New Year” Gift Basket Giveaway. Each MVEC cooler was filled with treats and treasures from member-businesses across our service area. More than 1,000 members entered.

When temperatures plunge, energy demand rises ❄️

During this weekend's frigid weather, MVEC will use load management to help manage peak demand and maintain system reliability. Load control helps protect the electric grid by reducing strain during peak energy usage, preventing overloads, and supporting reliable service for everyone.
