When temperatures plunge, energy demand rises ❄️

During this weekend's frigid weather, MVEC will use load management to help manage peak demand and maintain system reliability. Load control helps protect the electric grid by reducing strain during peak energy usage, preventing overloads, and supporting reliable service for everyone.

MVEC had the opportunity to attend and give a presentation on our We Deliver More campaign at last week’s MREA Winter Member Services & Communications Conference! ⚡

A big thank you to Minnesota Rural Electric Association for hosting a fantastic event. We enjoyed connecting with other co-op communication professionals, sharing ideas, and learning new ways to better serve you, our member-owners.

This week, MREA is hosting our Winter Member Services & Communications Conference with a hockey “power play” theme. Great sessions, strong collaboration and even better conversations to support electric co-ops. What a fun group! 🏒⚡️
