Morongo Basin Ambulance provides 9-1-1 emergency medical transportation and non-emergency medical transportation proudly serving communities in San Bernardino County and Riverside County. Founded in 1948 as a non-profit corporation, we are the sole provider of 9-1-1 emergency ambulance services to Joshua Tree, Joshua Tree National Park, Twentynine Palms, Morongo Valley, Pioneertown, Rimrock, Flami

ngo Heights, Landers, Johnson Valley, Wonder Valley and Amboy. As a non-profit corporation, all monies over and above operating costs are put back into the company and the communities we serve. As an employer of Paramedics, EMTs, Nurses and Dispatchers, we are a leader in the industry providing Advanced Life Support level care with Paramedics in our desert communities.

🎙️ Final Tone Out 🚑

After more than 33 years of dedicated service, today we gave one of our own his final tone out.

For decades, he answered every call with compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to serving the Morongo Basin community. He has touched countless lives, not only through the patients he cared for, but through the friendships, mentorship, and memories he leaves behind with our team.

As the radio signed off one final time, it marked the end of an incredible career and the beginning of a well earned retirement.

Thank you for your years of service, your dedication, and the legacy you’ve left with Morongo Basin Ambulance. We wish you nothing but happiness, health, and new adventures in this next chapter.

Congratulations on your retirement, you’ve earned it. ❤️🚑

The San Bernardino County Fire Protection District is saddened to announce this morning’s passing of active-duty Fire Engineer Robert “BJ” Myers. BJ passed away peacefully with family, friends, his service dog “Scout”, and County Fire members by his side.

He served with honor, professionalism, and courage. He was a valued member of our Community Outreach and Support Team (C.O.A.S.T.), and a true public servant who demonstrated compassion and commitment to the community.

We extend our deepest condolences and prayers to his children, family, friends, and colleagues of Engineer Myers.

Funeral details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.

🚑🏁 Thank You, King Shocks! 🏁🚑

We are incredibly grateful to King Shocks for donating $4,000 worth of new shocks for our Morongo Basin Ambulance Jeep.

These upgrades directly improve our vehicle’s performance in rugged desert terrain — helping us respond more effectively during events like King of the Hammers and in remote areas where access can be challenging. 🌵
