Atascosa County Attorney Molly Groesbeck Solis Atascosa County Attorney on January 1, 2025. I am Molly Groesbeck Solis, I am Atascosa County Attorney Elect. I begin serving our County on January 1, 2025.

I was born and raised in Atascosa County and have lived here almost all of my life. I grew up in the Poteet-Rossville area and live in Lytle now. I graduated Valedictorian from Poteet High School in 1996. I went on to graduate from UTSA in 2002 and in the top 15% of my class at St. Mary’s Law School in 2008. I am proud to be a public servant and use my legal education and experience to serve my co

mmunity. I have worked my entire legal career serving the legal needs of government entities, counties or cities in the Atascosa and Bexar County area. I previously served as your Assistant Atascosa County Attorney and Assistant District Attorney for the 81st Judicial District serving in Atascosa County. I have 15 years of legal experience in Criminal Law and Criminal Prosecution, Government Law, Employment Law, Litigation, Land Use and Regulation and am skilled at serving as the chief legal advisor for government entities. I love our County and promise to work each day to help make Atascosa County a better and a safer place to live and raise our families. I believe in the responsible growth of our County. I believe in our criminal justice system and want to ensure that justice is served in Atascosa County. I have always and will always faithfully execute my duty as a prosecutor to see that justice is done, not only for crime victims, but also for the safety and well-being of ALL citizens of Atascosa County. I have ALL the qualifications and experience necessary to successfully serve as your County Attorney.

It’s inspiring to see citizens getting involved and educated about our county government and the role of each department and elected official with in our local government.

I’m honored to be able to share my experience growing up in this community as a member of Poteet 4H club over 35 years ago! The lessons I learned from my time as a Poteet 4H club member contributed to my choice to use my law degree to serve our community. Looking forward to seeing these 4H members achieve their goals!

Poteet 4-H wants to send a big shout out and thank you to Atascosa County Attorney Molly Solis and Chief Investigator Albert Garza for coming and talking to our members at tonight's meeting. They gave our members a lot of life lessons and things to think about for the future. Thank y'all so much!
