The City of Jourdanton would like to inform residents that CenterPoint Energy will be conducting routine inspections of gas meters throughout the community. These inspections are part of a required maintenance program to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.

Residents may notice contractors working in their area during this time. All personnel will be in marked vehicles and carry proper identification.

We appreciate your cooperation as we continue working together to maintain a safe and dependable utility system for our community.

Recognizing the students from the powerlifting team and congratulated them on their achievements.

The Mayor read two proclamations from CASA South Texas and Children’s Alliance of South Texas and declared April 2026 Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month.

Various citizens, including the youngest of them, donated diapers and wipes to SJRC Texas & Belong.

Additionally, the Mayor officially proclaimed April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month to support survivors and promote prevention.
