Person Apprehended

Detective Zoeller successfully apprehended a suspect involved in the theft of a four‑wheeler from a residence in Jourdanton. Acting on a credible tip regarding the suspect’s possible location in Charlotte, Detective Zoeller conducted surveillance in the area. During the follow‑up, she identified the individual and executed the arrest without incident.

Community Service in Action

While patrolling Texas Highway 97, Jourdanton officers saw a vehicle strike an object in the roadway, causing the tire to rapidly lose air. Officers asked the driver, who was disabled, to pull into the City Hall complex, where they changed the tire and made sure he was safely back on the road.

The Jourdanton Police Department was honored to take part in the first Summerween event hosted by Tat Studio this past Saturday. Our officer had a great time taking photos, visiting with our community, and enjoying the morning together. We’re grateful for the invitation and look forward to being part of more community events throughout the year.

🚔 Busy Start to the Summer in Jourdanton

It’s been an active week for the Jourdanton Police Department as officers continue working hard to keep our community safe.

Tuesday Activity

• Officers responded to a suspicious person call. After identifying the individual, it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Atascosa County Jail without incident.

• Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Hackberry St. for a disturbance. After investigating, they located and arrested the male subject in the 300 block of Nicollet Drive.

• Later that evening, officers conducted a traffic stop at Hwy 431 and TX‑97. The driver was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for DWI.

On Wednesday afternoon, Jourdanton PD partnered with Pleasanton PD for a Joint Operation to track down suspects wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred in Pleasanton on July 4th. Officers executed a search warrant in the 900 block of Poplar Street. During the search, one individual was located along with methamphetamine.

Our officers remain committed to proactive policing and protecting the community every day.
