Jourdanton Police Department

Jourdanton PD had an absolute blast visiting the daycare today! 🚓🎃 Officers talked to the kids about important Halloween safety tips, played a round of Green Light, Red Light, and shared a fun storytime reading a book together. Community policing starts early, and we love building these positive connections with the little ones!

Career Day at Charlotte ISD was a great start to the morning.
Our officers enjoyed handing out candy, answering questions, and showing students police work. We appreciate the invitation, it’s always a privilege to be included.

Busy day for Jourdanton PD.

Officers received information that a stolen trailer was within the city limits. After confirming details with the owner, officers followed up and learned a second flatbed trailer had also been stolen and was in the backyard of a residence.

Officers arrived at the location and during the investigation, officers located multiple trailers matching the descriptions provided. One of the flatbeds displayed a Texas license plate, which after verification, was confirmed to be stolen.

As officers continued their investigation, a vehicle arrived at the location. Contact was made with the occupants, and officers observed a baggie containing a white crystallized substance. After further investigation, two individuals were arrested for possession of methamphetamine. According to the officers, additional stolen property may still be identified as the investigation continues.

Great job by Officer Canseco and Detective Zoeller for their proactive work and dedication.
A huge thanks to the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office for the assistance and teamwork.
