Julian Historical Society Presents Tony Romano

Wednesday, June 25th at 7 pm

The Romano Family has been in the bar and restaurant business since the 1920s when Antonino Romano, an immigrant from Sicily, opened his first restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the 1960s, Romano’s Deli in Pacific Beach was famous for its buckets of spaghetti and abalone frittata. Romano’s Restaurant opened in Julian in 1982.

Katy Moretti
Katy Moretti has been the president and owner of Eagle Peak Escrow in Ramona since 1991. Katy grew up in Santa Ysabel on her family cattle ranch. She graduated from Julian High School in 1978. Katy will entertain us with local history. Not to miss this one!

April Brackett
Wednesday, March 26th - 7 – 9 pm

A Julian resident, April is an Enforcement Officer for the National Marine Fisheries Service, a part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. In other words, she is a game warden for fish on the high seas.
April will speak about her job, what it entails, and some of the things she has encountered while protecting our fisheries.
