🫵 WE NEED YOUR HELP!

This might seem to far off to plan this, but it's really not! And if we talk about snow, will it help to bring the temperatures down a little this week?! 😄

We are re-naming our trucks again for this winter season, but YOU are in charge of the naming process this year! See this post for additional information! We can't wait to see what fun, creative, yet appropriate, names will be submitted! 🏆

Last year's truck names were:

Betty Whiteout
Plow Chicka Plow Wow
The Flint Chills
The Plow Jay
Snow Diggity
Salt Shaker
Ctrl + Salt + Delete

Reminder, each winter season, we have a map posted on the Geary County website that provides a general representation of our snow plow activity. The selected truck names will appear on this map for tracking, (route map is delayed), to see where our trucks have been hard at work! 💪

Update!

UPATE ON ROAD CLOSURE:
Boller Road off of K-18 is opened back up to regular traffic. The construction company ran into a slight problem and
instead of keeping it shut down, they opened it back up this morning.

They anticipate closing it again in about 2-3 weeks to finish up what they were doing in the immediate area.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:
At about 1400 hours today, the road construction at Clarks Creek Rd will OPEN (unrestricted) from Ascher Rd to I-70 including the intersection with Barr Road.
Boller Road coming off of K18 will be CLOSED while they do work there. Please use Whiskey Lake Road as an alternative route.
